**PMO Manager**

**Job Summary**
- Effectively manage awarded AP projects in compliance with Nidec Structured Development Process requirements to meet all stakeholder deliverables.
- Manage AP project execution in the areas of administration, planning, team building, communications, and conflict resolution. Escalate issues to Management when resolution at the team level is not possible.
- Coordinate cross functional inputs to the CAA process to yield competitive & profitable AP project business cases to support new business acquisition and growth.

**Primarily Job Responsibilities**
- Develop budget and control cost for AP project(s). Determine resource needs and schedule requirements for projects and submit for management approval. Monitor resource budgets and allocation with support from financial analyst.
- Develop quotes for new AP projects - this includes all necessary costs and timing objectives in accordance with QAP (quality assurance plan).
- Represent Nidec in customer meetings as required to support active and potential projects.
- New projects launch under profitability aligned to AMEC/NAMA business strategy
- Monitor tasks and resources to ensure achievement of program timing and budget objectives.
- Provide program status reports to management (including the Product Line Steering Committee - PLSC and PVC) to identify time/cost risk.
- Supervise team members.

**Competences**
- Professional Competences: Supervisory experience, Project management training or equivalent, Basic Financial Knowledge, Customer interface experience, Coaching and tem building skills
- General Competences:

- English - Spanish Bilingual

**Education**:
Bachelor degree preferable in engineering

**Work Experience**:
8+ years in: Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Manufacturing Engineering

**Certifications / Training**:

- MBA desired.
- PMP certification desired
