**Job Description**:
**The Role**

Come join our growing Finance team as we establish our newest Centre of Excellence (CENX) in Mexico. The Finance Team already has an established CENX in both Mumbai and Bucharest and with the importance of the Americas to YouGov’s growth, we are now excited to create a new team in Mexico.

Reporting to the Finance Manager also based in Mexico city, this role will support the YouGov group in producing monthly financial accounts and is critical to improving YouGov’s balance sheet controls.

**What will I be delivering?**
- Prepare month end journals (e.g. prepayments, fixed asset depreciations, intangible asset amortization)
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts (e.g. bank reconciliation, accrued revenue, prepayments)
- Ensure intercompany accounts reconcile
- Create reporting and analysis on end to end financial processes
- Suggest and implement improvements to the financial accounting controls and processes, including the globalization / standardization of journals and reconciliations
- Support internal and external audits
- The role will be focused on the Americas, however as a global CENX Team, there will be opportunities to work on global processes and support other regions

**Qualifications**:
**What do I need to bring with me?**

**Demonstrated knowledge and experience**
- At least 3 years of experience of reporting under IFRS
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage conflicting demands priorities.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong service orientation/responsiveness.
- Excellent Excel skills
- Experience of using Blackline and / or NetSuite (preferred)

**Technical skills and qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related disciplines preferable

- Ability to deliver results, meet deadlines/SLAs, ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate a high degree of tenacity and resilience
