Test Automation Engineer- Quality Assurance

What you need:

- At least +3 years working in a Testing Analyst role or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar field.
- Previous experience working with **Selenium** (or similar tools) is a **must**.
- Previous experience working as a QA automation engineer.
- Advanced programming skills including automation systems and scripting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Experience of managing and supporting Internal Development Teams.
- Ability to travel internationality at potential short notice for extended periods (up to 2 weeks).

What you will be doing:

- Meeting with the business analyst and software development team to discuss verification protocols.
- Sketching out ideas for automated software test procedures.
- Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
- Working with the project manager and business analysts to Lead and participate in smoke testing before they are released to the Business.
- Continuous engagement with the internal IT Team to ensure that issues during SIT and UAT are following the correct resolution process.
- Produce Reports and Metrics on the progress of the Test Programme throughout the year.
- Takes a proactive and ‘hands on’ approach to project work and is adaptable in terms of style and activities undertaken.
- Work with the business analyst to ensure that the Test Strategy and approach meets the GMF processes.

**About the role**

The
**Test Analyst** will work with the stakeholders, the Business SMEs and the IT Team to analyse and understand how the requirements gathered and developed are translated into Test Cases and Test Plans. The Test Analysts will produce reports and metrics on a daily and weekly basis on the progress of SIT and UAT. They will also work with the Business and IT Team to improve all the different phases of testing. This is required to support change delivery within the Point of Sale Programme for International Operations.

Qualifications:
**What you need**
- At least +3 years working in a Testing Analyst role or equivalent, ideally within the financial services industry.
- Degree in IT related areas is a must.
- Test Automation for Web Applications using Selenium is a nice to have.
- Experience using DevOps for testing execution and tracking is a plus.
- Experience of managing and supporting Internal Development Teams.
- Ability to travel internationality at potential short notice for extended periods (up to 2 weeks).
