**Operation Team Leader**

**Position Objective**

**The primary responsibilities of the position include daily production schedule fulfillment, customer service, area financial performance, implementation of operational excellence initiatives (EOHS, quality, FP&R), employee relations, and driving team development and performance. The OTL achieves success through collaborative partnerships with Supply Chain and leveraging the company's renewed focus on Supply Chain agility and FEED.**

**Responsibilities/Activities**
- ** EOHS**:

- ** Demonstrates understanding of, ensures compliance with, and enforces relevant corporate and site EOHS policies and procedures, including but not limited to Minimum Security Requirements (MSB), Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), Hazardous Communications (HazCom) requirements.**:

- ** Participates in the implementation of EOHS principles and corrective actions through walkthroughs and effective follow-up.**:

- ** Accurately completes workplace observations according to standards.**:

- ** Participates in incident reports and incident investigations.**:

- ** Is knowledgeable of the emergency response plan and implements it when necessary**

**Quality**
- ** Demonstrates understanding of, ensures compliance with, and applies relevant corporate and site quality policies and procedures.**:

- ** Knows the basics of cGMP requirements and ensures compliance**:

- ** Performs and ensures good documentation practices.**:

- ** Actively participates in walkthroughs to identify problems and follow up on corrective actions.**:

- ** Knows proper storage and handling and ensures compliance.**:

- ** Ensures line validation is completed: knows basic cleaning and sanitization steps and ensures they are completed correctly**:

- ** Performs non-conformance reporting and follow-up**:

- ** Understands quality procedures and documentation requirements and ensures compliance.**:

- ** Ensures technicians and operators follow standard operating procedures (SOP's).**:

- ** Understands the Management of Change (MOC) process**:

- ** Effectively completes CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) for any FIs (Failure Investigations**

**FP&R**
- ** Leverages FP&R program, standards, and guidelines to drive performance**:

- ** Management systems**:

- ** Facilitates shift change meetings to facilitate uninterrupted operations Understands and participates in Standard Daily Meeting.**:

- ** Utilize data analytics (OPERA, Tableau, etc.) to identify opportunities to drive performance through immediate solutions and long-term improvements.**:

- ** Analyzes and understands the source of material losses and implements actions to reduce them.**:

- ** Understands the AEM model to drive plant performance and operational KPIs.**:

- ** Knows 5S and VW principles and ensures they are consistently maintained.**:

- ** Understands and participates in 5S inspections for their area.**:

- ** Planned Maintenance**:

- ** Understands the planned maintenance process and how it affects production operations.**:

- ** Ensures execution of planned maintenance plans.**:

- ** Supports activities to address equipment issues**

**Skills and Qualifications**
- ** Grade: Industrial, chemical, process or related engineering.**:

- ** Experience: 2 years of experience in related positions.**:

- ** Technical Skills**:

- ** Understands the manufacturing process from raw materials to finished product with special emphasis on EOHS, Quality, FP&R, documentation and troubleshooting.**:

- ** Understands the bill of materials [BOM] structure and the use of the BOM on the production floor.**:

- ** Able to complete and teach basic SAP transactions related to production operations management.**:

- ** Understand the overall planning process and how it translates into shop floor production plans.**:

- ** Understands production schedules and is able to communicate effectively.**:

- ** Applies root cause analysis methods for problem resolution.**:

- ** Management of unionized personnel**:

- ** English 60%+**
