Job Title: Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk
Department: Finance/Accounting
Reports To: Accounts Payable Manager / Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for accurately entering invoice and payment data into the accounting system, maintaining organized records, and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable function.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accurately enter vendor invoices and payment data into accounting software
- Review invoices for accuracy, appropriate documentation, and approval before entry
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for three-way match processing
- Assist with reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain up-to-date and organized digital and paper records
- Communicate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely payments
- Assist with check runs, ACH payments, and other disbursements as needed
- Follow company policies and procedures related to financial reporting and data security
- Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 1+ year of experience in data entry or accounts payable
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in a high-volume data entry environment
- Familiarity with ERP systems

Pay: $18,000.00 - $23,000.00 per month
