**Responsibilities**:
**What will you be doing?**

This role will be part of the Global R&D IT organization focused around product data management (PDM) solutions with SAP S/4 HANA Recipe Development. Recipe Development is leveraged to house and management PepsiCo's R&D specifications of Ingredients, Packaging, Recipes, and finished product nutritional labeling. The business and data analyst will support DEVSECOPS project and sustain activities of the R&D specification management system leveraging used in Europe, APAC, and AMESA as well as future expansions and deployments. The analyst will support business analysis of new regulations as well as system enhancements driving business value. In DEV, the analyst will work in an Agile Ways of Working as part of a larger PDM team, participating in daily standups and monthly release sprints delivering incremental and iterative design/build/test cycles. In OPS, the analyst will also support the data migration and master data management of R&D specifications, leveraging tools/processes for data mining, loading, and remediation. This role will also work very closely with key business leads, functional leads in the overall PDM team.
- Functional business analysis of SAP system enhancements and documenting requirements/user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Perform data analysis on existing R&D master data for data changes, remediation, and migration - Perform data migration of legacy specifications into SAP leveraging data load templates and software tools
- Perform data remediation analysis and changes of existing specifications when master data or data structure updates are required
- Work with OPS to investigate chronic system issues and perform analysis of root cause and solution improvements
- Support Solution Design Lead on functional documentation creation and review of vendor deliverables
- Train and document OPS team members of new functionality as part of a transition management

Qualifications:
**Who are we looking for?**
- Undergraduate degree in Information Management Systems, Info Technology, Engineering and/or Computer Science
- Business Analysis skills to translate business requirements into functional requirements for development and configuration
- Coding or system configuration experience desired - Data analytical skills/tools and understanding of relational database concepts (e.g. SQL / Python)
- Data transformation/conversion skills/tools experience a plus
- Integration experience or skills of data migration/transformation from source to target systems/structures (e.g. Field Mapping)
- Project management exposure/experience
- Familiar with testing processes, tools and methodologies
- Exposure to Agile methodology and process
- Priority management ability ability to manage and juggle competing priorities.
- Communication and rapport building skills with managers and peers
- Team player open to working in a highly collaborative onshore/offshore environment with a diverse audience.
- High attention to detail
- Results oriented with decision making capabilities in a complex, fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Analytical and logical thinking ability
