**Packaging Engineer**

Responsible of packaging to optimize, develop, and test packaging solutions for our inbound (supplier) product to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

**Competencies and required skills.**
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics or related field
- Good English skills (written and oral)
- Computer skills (MS Office)
- 2+ years of experience in packaging engineering, materiales, purchasing or related field
- Strong understanding of packaging materials, supply chain management or processes, and testing methods
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with packaging, (materials, supply chain management or engineering).
- Cost reduction initiatives.
- Ability to lead and facilitate workshops and teams.

**General Functions**:

- Meet annual savings target.
- Collaborate with suppliers and customers
- Packaging solutions to reduce cost, and meet product protection and sustainability.
- Coordinate packaging testing and validation to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Develop and maintain packaging specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including project reports, proposals, and presentations.
- Identify and implement best practices and lessons learned to drive continuous improvement.
