We seek a **Chief Technology Officer**for our **HealthCare and Life Sciences AI Studio**who shares our passion for innovation and change. This role will be responsible for defining and executing the full technology strategy for this Studio, leading a team of approximately 1700 global technologists. You’ll ensure cutting‑edge architecture, frameworks, IP, and delivery excellence across engagements with high‑tech and professional services clients.

You will have the chance to:

- Define & drive the global AI technology vision across the HLS (Pharma/ Biotech, Drug Discovering) practice, ensuring alignment with Globant’s global strategy.
- Oversee innovation in service offerings—ranging from generative AI, predictive models, NLP, and intelligent automation to AI‑driven advisory services.
- Partner with senior stakeholders in HLS (Life Sciences, Payers and Providers) clients to shape AI‑led transformation roadmaps.
- Creation of new offerings in HLS space and overall technical strategy for the AI studio.
- Work directly with the CEO of the HLS studio. Nurture a strong global team across regions—guiding leadership, establishing training programs, ensuring competence in AI best practices, and responsible AI governance.
- Collaborate with Innovation Labs, R&D, and Chief AI Officer functions to pilot emerging technologies and scale internally.
- Represent AI Studio in executive discussions with enterprise clients and internal leadership.Support pricing, scoping, and commercial negotiations aligned with delivery cost models and profitability targets.

What will help you succeed:

- 15+ years in technology leadership—preferably with global scope and delivery scale of thousands of team members.
- Proven record of leading AI-focused delivery practices within professional services firms, advanced consulting organizations, or healthcare and life science providers.
- Demonstrated success engaging HCLS clients on AI transformation.
- Experience in consultative sales / pre-sales, working alongside CROs/partners to convert technical capability into revenue.
- Strong background in governance, risk, and security compliance around AI/ML systems.
- Exceptional people leadership—coaching, growing, and scaling global teams, including distributed delivery across hubs.Global mindset with excellent communication skills, engaging with clients and internal senior leadership.
