Accelerate YOU at Brillio **Role: Data Engineer** **Employment Type: Permanent** **Location: Guadalajara, Hybrid** - You are very comfortable working the terminal, with Linux or MacOS. - 4+ years’ experience in Python (or similar) - 4+ years’ experience working with data engineering technology - You have a strong knowledge of which tools to use and why - Demonstrative experience using SQL, and star schemas/dimensional database design. - You take ownership and pride over your projects. - You have strong verbal and written communication skills and can tailor communications base on the audience. (business vs. technical) - Experience creating dashboards for data visualization. **To succeed, this role’s responsibilities would involve**: - Write concise, well-tested code in Python and SQL - Good understanding of ETL and data warehousing knowledge and Databricks knowledge - Manage data-pipelines: monitoring and expanding Airflow, fixing pipe errors, managing AWS pipelines (SQS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift). - Create new and expanding on data pipelines to collect more analytics. - Work with our connection’s analytics and censorship circumvention teams to determine data warehousing requirements and specifications. - Work as part of our data team to store and handle immense amounts of user data while respecting the privacy of our users. - Manage our Amazon Redshift database according to analytics needs.
