Summary
**The Opportunity**
Hyatt seeks a driven Senior Platform Operations Engineer to join our Platform Operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our middleware platform on linux systems (rhel and aix) that runs our reservation and loyalty platform among others. The team member will be expected to have hands on experience managing jboss, apache, wildfly app servers on Linux platforms. Should have excellent troubleshooting skills and work with app developers and others in the company to resolve issues. The person should be able to handle day to day operations work as well as work on project work to build new environments following the team’s standards and runbooks. Expected to have some automation skills like scripting (python, bash), worked on observability tools and hands on experience dealing with on-call and production issues.

**Qualifications**:
- 5 years of experience working in large enterprise companies support Linux based platforms
- 5 years of hands on experience in middleware stacks like jboss, wildfly, apache
- 3+ years of automation work
- Solid understanding of ssl certificates, load balancing and other web architecture technologies
- RHEL skills, Web Architecture skills, Troubleshooting skills
- Right attitude and willingness to learn and adapt
- Work with integrity and be truthful
- Ability to grasp things and work with mínimum supervision
