No professional guide license is required — just strong local knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a welcoming personality.
**Position Details**
- **Role**: Freelance Tour Guide
- **Location**: Guadalajara
- **Pay**: 80 USD/day + performance bonuses
- **Schedule**: Fully flexible — choose your own working days and hours
- **Contract**: Freelance
- **Training**: One-day onboarding introduction
- **Application Fee**: None
**What You’ll Do**
- Lead engaging, customized walking tours for small groups
- Share authentic stories and insights about Guadalajara’s landmarks, neighborhoods, and traditions
- Adapt each experience to match your guests’ interests and preferences
- Optionally host food tours to showcase local cuisine
**What We’re Looking For**
- Excellent knowledge of Guadalajara’s history, culture, and key attractions
- Fluency in at least one language: French, English, Spanish, Italian, German, Chinese, Portuguese, etc.
- Friendly, engaging, and approachable personality
- Comfortable leading tours lasting 3-8 hours
- Guiding or hospitality experience is a plus but not required
