**Job Summary**:
The _**Industrial Engineer**_ uses his skills in project management to improve efficiency, productivity and quality. Evaluates current manufacturing practices, identifies those in need of improvement and improves upon them, balancing production lines and studying timing for effectiveness.


**Responsibilities**:

- Design efficient production processes and workflows.
- Define approach/process for how to flex manufacturing process with existing manufacturing equipment to run alternative line staffing scenarios with adapted output to match different customer demand situations.
- Conduct timing analysis for manufacturing processes, both new and existing processes and equipment.
- Ensure that processes are designed to meet quality standards.
- Review production schedules, processes, and specifications.
- Evaluate data to implement technological improvements in production processes.
- Implement controls to monitor costs, reduce wastes, and minimize production issues.
- Design facility layout and personnel requirements.
- Help to develop instruction manuals for production personnel.
- Ensure that work processes are safe and addresses safety issues and concerns.


**Education, Experience Requirements**:

- BS in industrial engineering or related field (manufacturing or mechanical engineering).
- 4+ years relevant work experience in manufacturing required.
- Experience with REFA and MTM methodologies, time analysis/studies, and work package distribution on operators.
- Experience in line productivity/output improvement, line capacity & volume management process.
- Fluent English level required.


**Competencies and Qualifications**:

- Knowledge of production machinery, processes, and standards in automotive industry.
- Understanding of lean manufacturing and supply-chain management.
- Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Just In Time (JIT) strategizing.
- Project management, organizational, planning, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously.
