The Project Engineer I - Design is responsible for supporting the development, design, and execution of engineering projects. This role focuses on creating and reviewing technical designs, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring that project specifications, timelines, and budgets are met.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and review engineering designs, plans, and technical specifications.
- Support the preparation of drawings and 3D models using CAD software.
- Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure technical accuracy.
- Participate in design reviews and provide technical input.
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Assist in identifying and resolving design-related issues during project execution.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project records and documentation.
- General management of new projects for refrigerators.
- Management of improvement projects.
- Management of cost reduction projects.
- Planning and execution of projects through the AQ system.

Experiência y requisitos

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in engineering design or related areas (internships or co-op programs are acceptable).
- Basic knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
- Understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Personnel management
- Documentation handling
- Basic knowledge of 2D and 3D.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
