Manufacturing Engineer II
- Helps determine the operations required for more complex projects in product manufacturing, as well as implement cost-saving process improvements. Own the processes - create capable processes.
- May be responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budget and scheduling guidelines.
- May coach or manage less experienced team members. Troubleshoot and resolve more complex problems, develop sequence of operations, estimate time requirements for each, and prepare operation sheets.
- Identifies, recommends and implements improvements and/or modifications in the sequence of operations, equipment utilization and related issues to increase efficiency and cost savings.
- Designs and programs CNC equipment to utilize it at full capacity.
- May be responsible for the completion of engineering projects.
- Design new line layouts or redesign the plant layout.
- May provide technical leadership/training and/or coaching to other team members.
- Transfer of new products.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electromechanical/Mechatronics) or equivalent related experience. 5+ years.
- Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma acquired in the last 3 years.
- Knowledge of CNC manufacturing equipment.
- Fixture design in AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
- Bilingual -English 80% desirable.
