JumpCloud® is IT Simplified. **About the Role** This Senior Analytics Engineer role will play a critical role on the Enterprise Data and Analytics (EDA) team, an internal, cross-functional analytics team supporting stakeholders across all company’s business units (Finance, Marketing, Sales, Growth, UX, Customer Success, Product). Primary responsibility is driving JumpCloud’s core reporting, curation, data modeling, and enabling self-service across the analytics team and organization for accessing curated data. You will support and partner across the analytics teams (EDA, embedded analysts) and technical teams (Enterprise Support Systems, Data Engineering, Software Engineering) to develop and maintain curated data models to support business and analytics insights organization-wide. **What you’ll be doing**: - Collaborating and driving large, impactful projects involving data modeling and data curation for optimized analytics and business use with involvement across various stakeholders, business units, and technical partners. - Owning the outcomes of the analytics initiatives you’re leading. You’re not just a participant in the initiative, you hold yourself responsible for the outcome of the project. - Gathering requirements and providing actionable recommendations to technical stakeholders, driving adoption and execution of recommendations. - Mentoring and growing the other analysts and engineers across the organization. We’ve got a great organization full of a lot of potential, you’ll be helping the other members of the organization achieve their potential. - Supporting team's project management, strategic decision-making, and long-term planning. **We’re looking for**: - Advanced knowledge and experience in SQL and relational databases; Snowflake experience highly preferred. - Advanced knowledge in data modeling, data infrastructure, and ELT process to support analytics and business operations. DBT and GitHub experience are highly preferred. Airflow experience a plus - Intermediate knowledge and experience with scripting languages such as Python (Jupyter, Pandas, Numpy) and/or R (tidyverse, dplyr, ggplot2) a plus - Advanced quantitative experience, SaaS industry preferred. - Intermediate analytical skills and a passion for data storytelling and quantitative analysis. - Proficiency in one or more business Intelligence / data visualization tools; Tableau experience highly preferred. - Strong mentoring skills. - Strong attention to detail and desire to learn. - Effective stakeholder management skills and communication skills. - Experience with Data Governance best practices.. - Effective project management and organizational skills; Agile experience is a plus. - Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, unstructured, dynamic environment; Start-up experience a plus. - Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or another quantitative field.
