Manufacturing Engineer

**What will you do?**

Working under JCMS standards, will be responsible for ensuring that the process design meets EHS, quality and production objectives, implementing continuous improvement, automation and innovation projects that lead to the future state to meet the requirements of our customers.

**How will you do it?**

1. Responsible for process design:
a. Line balance

b. AMEPA

c. Control Plan (support).

d. MOC and JSA (support).

e. PFEP (Support).

f. VSM.

2. Responsible for the implementation plan of the Johnson Controls Manufacturing System tools, as well as all the actions towards creating a culture and use of this tools at all the plant departments.

3. Assess the Current state of the plant’s Operations; Develop Future State vision and drive and monitor the implementation plan.

4. Collaborate with leadership to develop a plant CI Roadmap, driving breakthrough or Best-in-Class performance that balances resources between internal plant efficiency and external customer-focused effectiveness projects through 1. Just Do It improvements, 2. Six Sigma projects, and 3. Lean Implementation projects.

5. Is accountable to deliver the plant annual CI savings, BBPs and JCMS goals.

6. Establishes CI Profit Plan and subsequent Forecast goals. Drives team to achieve the corporate goals. Responsible for creating the project planning and identify new project opportunities.

7. Using standard tracking and reporting systems, will prepare detailed plans, drive project performance, and assure timely completion and achievement of product / process quality, and savings goals.

8. Ensures Process Owner involvement in projects development and Management Team leadership of their CI efforts within their departments. Assists Process Owners in identifying barriers to project success and helps to drive changes when needed.

9.Responsible for the Suggestion Box System at the plant, including implementation of suggestions that require process changes.

10.Responsible for developing and presenting the plant capital expenses plan each year. Manage and drive all investments projects and its leaders to complete all capital projects to budget and to schedule.

11.Develop CARs necessary to support the new product implementation, major process changes and new technology.

12.Responsible for capacity and footprint planning analysis, as well as define capacity under footprint requirements for the volume projected above.

13. Participate in EHS, Quality & JCMS observations program.

14. Ensure EHS, Quality & JCMS goals and metrics are established in GPAS for all employees.

15. Comply & assure all people in his/her charge comply with Quality Requirements defined in ASME Manual & all requirements defined in quality documented information.

**Qualifications - External**

**What we look for?**

Industrial Eng., IME, IMA, Mechatronic or related field with minimum of 2years of related experience is required.

Has demonstrated high-level performance in current and previous positions.

Has shown initiative, the desire to drive change and is motivated to exceed expectations

Has strong leadership skills and able to manage both vertically and horizontally

Has sufficient experience within the Company to be able to understand the organization and its business processes.

Has demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and the ability to exercise influence without authority.

Ability to work under constrained time scales and demanding work loads.

High proficiency with English language is also required.

Frequent travel could be required.
