About the job:
The Red Hat Telco Global Sales team is looking for a senior technical leader with a record of successfully delivering business results in the telecom network integration ecosystem to join us as a Senior OpenShift Specialist Solutions Architect.

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to guide incremental revenue through technical alignment between Red Hat and our telco network integration partners.

You’ll need to be highly technical and sales-focused to succeed in this customer-facing position and have significant knowledge of and experience deploying Red Hat’s and the ecosystem partners’ solutions. You’ll also need to be capable of architecting full-stack end-to-end solutions and have solid leadership, technical, and executive engagement skills to achieve alignment across a wide range of Red Hat’s and ecosystem stakeholders.

As a Senior OpenShift Specialist Solutions Architect, you will represent Red Hat’s global telco business in support of Red Hat Sales, working with a partner like IBM and representing customers’ business needs. You’ll need to have experience in technical selling as well as deep technical understanding of the network ecosystem, including related business models. You will be expected to travel.

What you will do:

- Use in-depth product knowledge to provide technical expertise to sales associates and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations
- Provide consultation to prospective users or product capability assessment and validation

What you will bring:

- 8+ years of experience in networking, telecommunications, and software industry; deep understanding of Red Hat’s platforms, open source software, and communities and customer issues in delivering on the promise of IT and network transformation
- 5+ years of large or global account technical experience; demonstrated excellence in delivering results in promoting technology adoption
- Practical kubernetes or OpenShift experience
- Practical experience with packaging tools like Helm charts
- Practical experience with technologies like Jenkins pipelines,Tekton, knative or serverless, and Service Mesh or Istio
- Practical experience building kubernetes operators
