Senior Java Developer with Gcp Expertise

We are seeking a talented and motivated **Senior Java Developer with expertise in GCP** to become a key part of our expanding team.

You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to design and deliver robust, scalable backend solutions utilizing modern Java technologies and cloud-based systems.

**Responsibilities**
- Design scalable backend solutions using Java 17/21 and the Spring ecosystem (Boot/Data/Security)
- Architect and optimize database schemas while implementing migration strategies with Flyway and PostgreSQL
- Automate deployments by building efficient CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Gradle
- Develop and integrate Kafka for event-driven architectures and real-time data processing
- Create clear and detailed API documentation with Swagger or OpenAPI tools
- Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and data engineers for seamless system integration
- Leverage Google Cloud Platform services like BigQuery, Cloud Storage, and Airflow to streamline data operations
- Participate in code reviews, debugging, and active technical discussions
- Ensure scalability and reliability during all phases of the development cycle

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in backend development with Java, preferably Java 17/21
- Knowledge of the Spring ecosystem, such as Spring Boot, Spring Security, and Spring Data
- Proficiency in Gradle and Jenkins for build automation and CI/CD workflows
- Expertise in Docker for containerization and PostgreSQL for relational database solutions
- Competency in Flyway for database migrations and Kafka for real-time data streaming
- Background in API design and documentation with tools like Swagger or OpenAPI
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services, including Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Airflow
- Understanding of software design patterns, optimization techniques, and secure coding practices
- Flexibility to operate both independently and collaboratively within dynamic teams

**Nice to have**
- Familiarity with Apache Airflow to manage workflow orchestration
- Skills in leveraging advanced Docker capabilities and container orchestration tools
- Capability to efficiently handle large-scale data workflows with Google Cloud Storage
- Expertise in customizing functionalities within Spring Data or Spring Security for complex cases
- Proficiency in utilizing advanced features of Gradle or Jenkins to enhance automation processes
