Role Summary
- As our Mechanical Designer, we're asking you to be the rudder that steers the design of our initial home prototypes. We want someone with grease on their hands from the world of mechanical design, an appreciation for the lines of beautiful architecture, and an entrepreneurial fire in their belly.

**Responsabilities**:

- Craft functional, aesthetically striking designs for the components of our revolutionary modular homes.
- Deploy your skills honed in a compact design to optimize space and resources without compromising style.
- Collaborate with our eclectic team to ensure our designs not only catch the eye but also meet residential regulations and our exacting sustainability standards.
- Prototype like a pro, gather feedback and refine designs with a relentless pursuit of perfection.
- Tune into customer desires and preferences, making them the compass that guides your design process.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, becoming a catalyst for progress.
- Establish our mechanical design standards, raising the bar for the industry.

**Required Skills & Experience**:

- You've earned your stripes with a degree in Mechanical Design, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- You've proven yourself in mechanical design, taking a significant product or multiple products from conception to production.
- You know your materials for durability and sustainability as a sommelier knows his wines.
- Problems are your muse, sparking your creativity and fine-tuning your attention to detail.
- You thrive in the controlled chaos of a startup environment.
- You can articulate your vision and ideas with clarity and persuasiveness.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.

- Have earned some scars in the prefab, boat, airline, auto, or RV industry
- Passion for sustainable design and construction
- Understanding of residential design standards and regulations
