**LOGISTICS TRAINEE**
MacroFab is the first digital marketplace and intelligent manufacturing platform focused on the $500B market in contract electronics manufacturing. Our technology and services allow customers to rapidly bring new products to market and consume manufacturing as a virtualized resource by offering instant price quotes, rapid prototyping services, and production at scale through a network of factories in North America. **Position Description**
- The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinate the shipping, freight and transportation for inbound and outbound of raw material and finish goods supporting the Macrofab’s logistics operation in Mexico and the US.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate international and national shipments from all locations (Macrofab USA, Macrofab México, Customers, Suppliers, CMs)
- Booking with carriers.
- Ensure shipping carrier requirements and regulations are meet.
- Track shipment details, locations and Estimated Time of Arrivals.
- Document invoices and packing list.
- Review purchase orders and the contents of shipments before releasing them from our facility.
- Shipping Planning Follow Up.
- Review and follow up of Transportation, Freight and Pedimento Bills.
- Track inventory of raw material and finish goods for conciliation of Operations for Virtual Pedimentos.
- Notifies Material’s Manager and Program Management of material situation that may affect the attainment of production plan or delays in customer’s Finish Good delivery related to logistics issues.
- Provides status for shipments.
- Monitors and reports Key Performance Indicators and other logistics metrics.
- Effective Communication: excellent written and verbal communication
- Problem solving and decision making able to identify and solve problems, showing good judgement.
- Supply Chain Fundamentals: understand the supply chain and logistics system of organizations.
**Education and experience**
- BA or BS.
- Intermediate English oral and written.
- Experience in Manufacturing Industry.
- Excellent Communication Skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge in Inventory Management, INCOTERMS, Customs and Foreign Trade.
