**Descripción y Requisitos**

**GENERAL OVERVIEW**:
The Buyer MRP is responsible for a variety of activities of purchasing procuring, and follow up activities to provide a variety of commodities in support of the planning process of electrical manufacturing materials

**RESPONSABILITIES**
- Process and work inventory management reporting tools including, but not limited to: Purchase Order Requirements Generation, Process Purchase Order Reports, Open Purchase Order Reports on a weekly basis.
- Responsible for issuing purchase orders to the supply base.
- Effective management of the open order board, ensuring system updates with accurate information for all orders.
- Manage elevated expedite orders and coordinate with the appropriate personnel to ensure mínimal production interruption.
- Responsible for timely processing of purchase order confirmations from the supply base to ensure accuracy of purchase order details.
- Active participation with the supply base to develop relationships and keep deliveries on time for production.
- Disposition of rejected material within the assigned buying areas by coordinating across departments to ensure mínimal interruption to the customer.
- Support accounting through timely resolution of invoice discrepancies.
- On time delivery for Raw Materials

**REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS**
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (Engineering Professional, Administration, Marketing or equivalent).
- At least two years of experience in MRP work activities for a manufacturing site.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills.
- English 80%
- Knowledge of, and ability to apply, purchasing and supplier management best practices - including daily/weekly requirements, performance metrics/reporting, quality assurance, and continuous process improvement methodologies.
- Knowledge of CTPAT and BASC practices.
- APICS Certified (desirable). Experience in inventory management and control (Kanban, JIT, VMI & PFEP).
- Knowledge of manufacturing operations
- Experience in production planning (is a plus).
- Experience in managing material flow handling.
- Experience in reducing inventories and / or costs for excess and obsolete.
- Proactive, Self-directed.

- Teamwork.
- Experience in managing ERP system (Oracle is a Plus)
