**Role Summary**:

- As a QA Engineer, you will support in the development, implementation and running of quality control programs and procedures.
- This position involves the translation of customer specifications and industry standards into product / process criteria and creating control plans to achieve those requirements.
- You’ll also address the day-to-day issues with production quality within the manufacturing plant, at customer sites and supplier facilities.

**Responsibilities & Requirements**:

- Review the information in the Transfer File of the order prior to the Kick Off Meeting.
- Generate the preliminary ITP based on information from the PMU, Datasheet, Specifications and technical clarifications of the Order Entry process.
- Issuing the final ITP based on the information of the Transfer File considering the clarifications with the client.
- Follow up on clarifications in customer specifications to generate the quality plan (ITP).
- Guarantee compliance with the ITP throughout the life of the project.
- Execute and document the non-destructive test of PMI.
- Management of root cause analysis necessary to prevent quality problems. Manage the document system and information flow for the preparation of the dossier.
- Lead the implementation of special certifications derived from customer requirements.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement through the implementation of CIP projects.
- Comply with the goals of Santa Clara according to the KPIs defined by the Corporate (COPQs, OTD, CARs, CSS, financial results).
- Ensure compliance with company safety rules and regulations by the team

**Preferred Experience / Skills**:

- Experience in engineering and utilization of Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies
- Experience in quailty control department
- Understanding of product / process flow
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Mechanical Engineering or similar and 3-5 years relevant experience
