- Supervises the function of the coordinator and the Export/Import assistant
- Processing of foreign trade operations with customs agents.
- Documentation control of foreign trade operations (Files and computer system)
- Verification of payment of taxes, fees and freight of foreign trade operations.
- Represents the company before the SECON to carry out all types of procedures, receive advice and requirements in foreign trade operations.
- Participates together with Supply Chain in negotiations for the contracting of customs broker services.
- Processing and obtaining permits and Foreign Trade tools, such as PROSEC, Sectoral Registers, Rule 8va, ALTEX, etc.
- Application and Administration of foreign trade programs (Pitex, Altex, etc.)
- Maintenance (Administration Support) to the VAT Certified company program.
- Control of imported merchandise on a temporary basis, through a computerized inventory control system. Annex 24 and Annex 31. Coordination with other departments and functions of the plant to ensure compliance with the law.
- Control of machinery and equipment imported under the Pitex program, its term in the program and its corresponding regime change. Coordination with other departments and functions of the plant to ensure compliance with the law.
- Control of raw materials or purchased parts imported under the Pitex program, their term in the program and their corresponding regime change. Coordination with other departments and functions of the plant to ensure compliance with the law.

- Supervision and monitoring of compliance with development programs authorized by SECON.
- Administration of customs regimes.
- Issuance of certificates of origin.
- Support for activities specific to the function to maintain C-TPAT Certification.
