**Associate Test Engineer**:

In this position, you will execute tests on electrical motors and components using the laboratory’s defined standard references and testing methodologies, investigating and resolving critical product issues, optimizing processes, and verifying product compliance. In this role, you will also support the existing lab management system in keeping equipment records and internal lab processes up to date.

**This position reports to**:
Production Engineering Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Executing and supporting test plans, following the right priority and allocated resources.
- Preparing, reviewing, managing, and updating documents.
- Proposing improvements to test techniques based on experience and knowledge of trends and equipment.
- Assisting external certification inspectors during testing activities for ABB products and external customer products.
- Ensuring that prototypes are correctly prepared for testing, tests are correctly performed, and activities are thoroughly reported.
- Keeping Equipment records up to date.
- Participating in the administrative processes of the lab management system.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering completed.
- 1-2 years in electrical field or similar.
- Basic knowledge in electricity and mechanical reasoning skills are required.
- Experience in ISO9001 (implementation) is a plus.
- Sound knowledge of MS Office and in LabView is a plus.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Intermediate - Advanced English.
