Descripción y detalle de las actividades
- Maintain and setup ERP parameters (Lead Times, Price, MOQ, Supplier, incoterm, standard price) -Raw material quoting and local sourcing, e.g. Electronic parts, packaging, plastic and metal parts. Request quotes (RFQ) from suppliers, evaluate new suppliers and negotiate contracts. Maintain develop and monitor a Plan for Every Part (PFEP) for assigned items. Identify and optimize reliability of supply and information to support manufacturing and business objectives. Contribute to supplier evaluations using formal systems, such as supplier scorecards and reviews The Buyer will implement purchasing/planning strategies and inventory management techniques to optimize inventory while maintaining service levels commitments. Makes the initial contacts for the introduction of new products and may participate in the negotiation process. Re-solves and expedites delayed purchase orders and gets authorization for changes of suppliers. Evaluates suppliers who comply with the quality standards. Requests and verifies new supplier’s quotes to ensure that price is competitive in the market. Responsible for suppliers on-time delivery, cost (PPV), inventory turns, and excess and obsolete inventory for assigned product lines and buys/commodities. Any other activities or support assigned by your manager or supervisor

Experiência y requisitos
- Understanding of the Supply Chain, and ability to use critical thinking and decision-making skills to optimize the flow of materials  3-more than years experience in a manufacturing organization  Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management  Excellent communication skills (listening, presentation, interpersonal, written) with leaders, managers, stakehold-ers, peers and suppliers); ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal means with all levels of the organization  Working experience of ERP vendor management software  Understanding of accounting principles and practices to best manage inventory, open POs, prevent PPV, recon-ciliation issues, and scrap, and pay Suppliers accurately and on-time.  Experience with C-TPAT and ISO 9001 2015  Education in supply chain management, logistics or business administration preferred.  Kanban, MRP and SAP experience to plan and place POs to support the Production lines  MS Office (PowerPoint and Excel required)
