**Role Summary**:
**Responsibilities & Requirements**:
Mexican Payroll Responsibilities:
Oversee payroll process and complete duties related to the payroll process on a weekly and semi-monthly basis and serve as backup for payroll and benefits processing.
Ensure processors have the technical support and training needed to perform their duties.
Document and maintain LAM Payroll procedures.
Complete ongoing payroll and tax audits and serve as the internal/external audit liaison for the LAM payroll team.
Review and resolve federal, state, and local tax notices for Mexican payroll, as well as provide the necessary supervision for all the other payrolls in LAM.
Evaluate and process taxable fringe benefits.
Monitor individual employee tax set up for accuracy and compliance.
Manage the relationship with the third party tax services and third party payroll services.
Complete amendments as needed.
Ongoing process improvement of all LAM payroll procedures Manage the LAM payroll team and perform mid-year and annual reviews
Train and develop the LAM payroll team
Ensure attendance system (KRONOS) is configured and work properly.
Audit that that third parties’ payroll procedures comply with proper legislation.
Ensure all payroll procedures follow and comply with SOX regulations.
This position is required to work full time at the Santa Clara, Ecatepec facility we have, with some few travels to other facilities in Latin América, if required.
**Preferred Experience / Skills**:
Four-year degree required in a related field.
Advanced payroll and tax knowledge required.
Must possess very good proficiency in MS Excel.
Attention to detail and accuracy is of the utmost importance.
Expertise in process development and creation of payroll controls.
Excellent customer service skills and ability to resolve problems effectively.
Excellent communications skills both oral and written and ability to communicate professionally with all levels in the organization.
Individual should be action oriented, service focused, and have the ability to complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Individual must possess leadership skills and ability to hold team accountable to commitments
Individual must be highly analytical, organized and possess strong time management skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to function in a cooperative team approach are highly valued.
Must possess strong ethical standards regarding the handling of confidential information
