SAP Mdm Data Project Specialist

Are you ready to lead impactful projects within the Global Data Office (GDO) and Master Data Management workstream? As an SAP MDM Project Specialist, you'll take charge of projects with regional or global scope, driving the implementation of new processes, data standardization, and innovative technologies. Your role will involve transitioning activities across various locations, expanding GDO scope, and ensuring data quality. You'll plan and engage resources from diverse functions to deliver project activities and solutions, while maintaining effective communication with stakeholders and managing change.

**Accountabilities**:

- ** Lead MDM projects**: Guide initiatives across the Master Data Management Team.
- ** Transitioning tasks and processes**: Move work from locally managed teams into the Data Management Team (DMT).
- ** Tool consolidation**: Consolidate multiple tools into one, such as SAP system implementation.
- ** Global improvements**: Implement enhancements across multiple geographies.
- ** Mass data cleansing**: Drive large-scale data remediation.
- ** Security enhancement**: Tighten security controls and access management.
- ** Project planning**: Create project plans, timelines, and schedules, assigning tasks to team members.
- ** Lifecycle management**: Manage the full project lifecycle from planning to closure.
- ** Risk management**: Proactively communicate and manage project risks with proposed solutions.
- ** On-time delivery**: Deliver results within agreed timelines and resources.
- ** Cross-functional collaboration**: Work with global data entry teams, SOX teams, and end user communities.
- ** Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive project documentation (charters, requirements, minutes).
- ** Quality assurance**: Monitor project deliverables to meet quality standards.
- ** Reporting**: Prepare regular project reports and performance metrics.
- ** BAU support**: Support business-as-usual requests for customer, supplier, and material pricing master data.

**Essential Skills/Experience**:

- ** Education**: University degree or equivalent experience.
- ** Communication & presentation**:Effective communication and polished presentation skills.
- ** Governance**: Understanding of data management governance framework and principles.
- ** Change & training**: Experience in inspiring change, and developing and delivering trainings.
- ** SAP master data expertise**: Strong knowledge of SAP master data transactions and the structure of SAP tables storing master data objects.
- ** Master data domains**: Experience with SAP master data objects: Vendors, Customers, Bank branches, Chart of accounts, Cost objects, Material Master.
- ** Analytics & decision-making**: Strong numerical and analytical skills; data
- and fact-based decision-making.
- ** Fast-paced setting**:Background in busy, high-volume environments.
- ** Teamwork**: Demonstrated success working in a team environment.

**Desirable Skills/Experience**:

- ** Approach methodology**:Practical experience in methodologies for managing change.
- ** Shared services**: Experience working in shared service organizations.
