**HSS Engineer**

**What you’ll do**:

- Lead and maintain HSE systems, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and all local, state, and national regulations (STPS, Civil Protection, PROFEPA, SEMARNAT, SSA, CTPAT, OAS, SAT), while safeguarding the physical integrity of employees and facilities. Develop teams across all shifts, guaranteeing adequate training, safe and efficient work practices, effective communication, and continuous improvement initiatives with corrective actions when needed.
- Manage risk prevention and emergency preparedness, including safety commissions, PPE management, fire systems, drills, accident investigation (8D/SER), unsafe condition audits, emergency planning, and validation of new production lines for safety, ergonomics, and chemical handling.
- Oversee environmental compliance and continuous improvement, managing ISO 14001 requirements, waste reduction programs, environmental permits and reporting, hazardous waste audits, soil and aquifer remediation, and alignment with quality systems and organizational objectives

**What is required**:

- Education: Industrial Engineer
- 3-5 years' experience, availability to work based on business and operation's needs, English is a must have.
- Knowledges/Skills: Legal safety requirements STPS regulations Risk factors in property security CTPAT, NEEC Oshas Certification training before state civil protection. Legal requirements STPS, IMSS, SAA
