The Associate Director of Materials is a key leader to drive excellence and the strategic direction of the MMS Materials Management organization at the Tijuana, MX facility. Key success factors are: - Aligns with executives and strategic sourcing initiatives to ensure successful execution of Supplier and Materials Management Initiatives. Key Measures: Stakeholder & Supplier Feedback, and Ability to meet Project Targets. - Strategizing the Supplier Development, Capacity and Risk Portfolio by building relationships and partnering with Suppliers to mitigate risk by ensuring source of supply is managed most effectively and the supply chain capacity (down to sub-tiers) can flex to BD Customer needs. Key Measures of Success: Clear to build, On-Time Delivery, Revenue Impact, Inventory - Be the supply chain benchmark by assessing and Continuously Improving the end-to-end supply chain processes to ensure a streamlined operation from receipt of supply and services to Customer delivery and aftermarket support. Key Measures: Productivity improvements against baseline/current state, Customer and Spares Depot fulfillment. - Responsible for managing individual department leaders who work with suppliers, manage logistics, and handles production and spare parts materials. Key Measures: OTD, Clear to Build, Spares Fulfillment, Reduction of Damaged Shipments and Expedite Charges

Experiência y requisitos
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Economics, or equivalent, MBA strongly preferred - Minimum 8 years of leadership experience in Operations with at least 5 years leadership experience in Supply Chain/Purchasing Management, preferably in the Medical Technology or Biotechnology field - Materials management/procurement experience is required - Knowledge and experience with Lean/Six Sigma quality improvement techniques; Green Belt preferred - Understanding of Kanban’s, MRP, Supplier Management - Prior experience using SAP ERP System
