**Your role at Vantive**

We are looking for an experienced **IT Technical Lead** to join our logistics team and drive the technical implementation and maintenance of logistics systems, including Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and other supply chain technology solutions. The IT Technical Lead will be responsible for overseeing the technical architecture, system design, and integration efforts, ensuring the effective use of technology to optimize logistics operations. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics systems, strong technical expertise, and the ability to lead a team in implementing solutions that meet business objectives.

**What you'll be doing**

**Technical Leadership & System Architecture**:

- Lead the technical design and architecture of logistics systems, including TMS, WMS, and related solutions, ensuring that they align with business goals and operational requirements.
- Oversee the integration of logistics systems with other enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM, financial systems, and third-party logistics services), ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability.
- Work closely with business to define technical requirements, develop custom solutions, and ensure that logistics systems are configured and developed to meet specific business needs.
- Identify opportunities to improve logistics systems' performance, scalability, and functionality, driving technical innovation and process automation.

**Project Management & Implementation**:

- Oversee the full lifecycle of logistics system implementations, from requirements gathering and system design to testing and deployment. Ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
- Lead efforts to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve technical issues in logistics systems. Collaborate with other IT teams to identify root causes and implement lasting solutions.
- Ensure that logistics systems are thoroughly tested to meet functional requirements, performance standards, and integration needs. Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure smooth deployment.
- Manage technical relationships with third-party logistics system vendors, ensuring timely support, updates, and resolution of any technical issues.

**Team Leadership & Collaboration**:

- Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and operations teams to understand requirements, gather feedback, and ensure that technical solutions support business processes and improve operational efficiency.

**System Maintenance & Support**:

- Oversee the maintenance, patching, and updating of logistics systems, ensuring that they remain secure, functional, and up to date with the latest software versions.
- Ensure that all technical designs, system configurations, and development work are well-documented. Maintain clear, accessible documentation for ongoing support and future system upgrades.
- Act as the technical escalation point for any issues that arise within logistics systems, ensuring they are promptly addressed and resolved. Coordinate with other IT teams to provide second-level or higher technical support.

**Data Management & Analytics**:

- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of logistics-related data across all systems, enabling real-time visibility of inventory, shipments, orders, and other logistics functions.
- Collaborate with business teams to implement data analytics and reporting solutions, providing insights into key performance indicators (KPIs) and helping improve decision-making for logistics operations.
- Implement and monitor system performance, ensuring that logistics systems meet operational needs and service level agreements (SLAs).

**What you'll bring**
