The Accountant Clerk is responsible for maintaining financial records, running reports, and recording a wide range of financial transactions. They provide administrative assistance to accountants and ensure the accuracy of database information.
Responsabilities:
- Support U.S. Accounts Payable area.
- Receive and process different invoices from suppliers leaving evidence of receipt and date through stamping.
- File purchase order invoices in order of date of payment and file overdue invoices for subsequent requisitioner follow up and resolution.
- Attach voucher, purchase order and purchase order requisition to the vendor check copy that goes to the finance’s records.
- Assist in the vendors payment process through checks and bank wire transfers managing.
- Prepare and file the journal vouchers record at the month end.
- Assist with reporting and analysis related to the Accounts Payable area.
- Continually trained in accounts payable and payroll activities.
- Participate in physical inventory.
- Give support to the internal and external auditors.
**Requirements**:
- Accounting degree or last year student in similar career.
- 1 year accounting/administrative clerk functions.
- Basic General Accounting.
- Administrative clerical functions.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Open Communication.
- Self-initiative.
- Customer Focus.
