Overview:
NPD lead will be responsible of leading and provide solutions to high complexity new product development projects focused on new products introduction, designing new systems (refrigeration, controllers, doors, etc) across different product lines, product reliability improvements projects and new plataform products based on business needs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop new product development/introduction projects based on the business needs (pipeline approved). Finding design solution from concept - desing - testing - Implementation.
- Provide strategic direction around customer specifications, standards, and market trends in commercial refrigeration as well regulations related to Hussmann products to anticipate planned changes in design guides for engineering members.
- Develop a training plan as well as evaluation metrics for Monterrey Engineering NPD team.
- Create and standardize design tools for Engineering members. Mentoring and guiding less experienced engineers
- Responsible for managing projects requiring multiple components and subsystems integration across the different product lines.
- Technical support to translate customer needs into design objectives as well as system requirements development. (Using tools such as QFD).

Qualifications:
- Bachelor´s degree. Master´s degree preferred.
- 7-10 years’ experience as NPD.
- Verifiable experience leading complex projects related with Thermodybamics, Mechanical and Electrical design systems as well as able to engage in conversations in technical English.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Solution-oriented.
- Proficient in English is required.
