The Prod Ctrl Intmd. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting. **Responsibilities**: - Solve issues under little to no supervision, including complex problems - Analyze situations and data utilizing data analysis tools and methodologies - Provide solutions for varied issues that potentially impact the broader business - Communicate information clearly and succinctly **Qualifications**: - 2-5 years of relevant experience - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience This role will cover Specialized Accounting under USGAAP such as hedge programs under FAS133, Derivatives netting under FIN39 and will require strong communication skills and teamwork across multiple locations and departments. **Responsibilities**: - Responsibility for performing Product control responsibilities for FAS 133 hedge programs and Derivatives netting under FIN39 - Responsibility for helping coordinate with Treasury, Market Risk Management, Operations and other Finance areas the performance of controls around FAS 133 hedge programs, Derivatives netting under FIN39, Legal entities FX position under USGAAP - Acting as a Business Partner to the Business, Risk, Compliance and Finance - Identifying and escalating potential issues related to FAS 133 hedge programs and Derivatives netting under FIN39 - Managing entity´s COB, eControl;EUC and MCA compliance processes - Keeping track of Product control expenses actuals vs plan **Requirements**: - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to communicate and present effectively to management of Finance, Business, and Audit. - Experience across FAS 133 Hedges programs and Derivatives netting under FIN39 desired - Product knowledge, including securities and derivatives - Current knowledge of USGAAP for Treasury related products desired - A control focused mind-set with strong capabilities for designing and implementing efficient processes with enhanced controls - +2 years of experience with USGAAP related responsibilities **Qualifications**: - Bachelor’s degree in any finance, economics or accounting - Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment; - An ability to influence stakeholders and generate support in a matrix reporting environment for key initiatives; - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Motivated, organized, and team oriented - Ability to work under stress - Proficient in English desired - **Job Family Group**: Finance - **Job Family**: Product Control - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
