The Tool Room Leader manages a technician group, with different skills and levels to achieve the company goals, initiatives, and macro plan. Provides guidance on tool specifications processes for tool design/fabrication/rework/repair processes. Responsible of driving MOS, establish and measure KPI's daily, manage equipment's percent load, develop, and ensure team' s development plan. Drives and ensure productivity project such as cycle time, cost, and risk reduction through lean tools. Establishes design concepts, manufacturing process criteria, product specification and other components impacting manufacturing engineering. Location: UTAS - GAM, Venustiano Carranza # 238 Desarrollo Industrial Colorado, Mexicali, 21397 Mexico
Experiência y requisitos
- 5+ years as ME or Tool designer & fabrication. - 2+ years as ME Leader on a High Volume environment. - Automotive or Aerospace industry as preferred. - Standard and Production Tooling creation and selection - Tooling Fabrication Process (Design, Standardize, Selection, Repair & Maintenance). - Metal Mechanic and CNC experience for Aluminum, Titanium, Inconel, Steel and Cres. - Process documentation, guidance, and quality compliance for aerospace industry. - Stablish and Execute year goals and objectives within Manufacturing group - Ability to manage technical groups - English (advanced)
