**The Position**

The Application Specialist will be responsible to ensure having complete information when documenting the approval process for all new items, item revisions or changes, items samples and item specifications, which will be reviewed for accuracy and proper approvals.

**Essential Functions**:

- Creation of part upload form
- Completion of initial part upload form
- Storing of stocking agreements
- Verify specifications, documents, print cards and customer approvals have been received.
- Maintain consistency and accuracy of part upload forms, ensuring a 100% accurate match to the ERP systems.
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations and Sourcing to proactively address internal impacts.
- Participate in and contribute on master data cleanups in order to execute a detailed analysis, cleanup, and consolidation of duplicate item file data.
- Execute the semiannual inactivation of part numbers

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 2 years related experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English - Spanish is required
- Must have experience to read, analyze, and interpret, parts numbers, description of items (size, style, items class, weight..) structural drawings, vendor sales information.
- Strong analytical abilities having a process mindset with the ability to make connections and create solutions for problems or issues
- Very detail oriented with a passion for data analysis, enjoys working with data connections
- Knowledge of the consumer converting/packaging industry (manufacturing process, markets & products) is a plus.
