As a Sr Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will manage, develop, evaluate and implement new test processes and procedures to improve product quality, cost, performance, and reliability, ensuring compliance with specifications, functions as a liaison between engineering and production for the development and implementation of testing and for new products as well as provide technical support.

**JOB DUTIES**:

- Perform the engineering tasks required to design electrical test equipment (hardware and software) used in the electrical evaluation of parts, assemblies or final products manufactured in the operation processes.
- Coordinate activities with the design teams to perform engineering tasks to design electrical test equipment (hardware and software)
- Generates and maintains necessary engineering documentation (drawings and software documentation and records) related to the design of electrical test equipment.
- Observe at all times that the designed electrical test equipment complies with the required safety standards prior to being released for use in operating processes in compliance with HSE standards.
- Work together with the Industrial Safety and Ergonomics teams to ensure that workstation designs meet the requirements of the test equipment.
- Maintain good control over the design of electrical test equipment in accordance with budget allocations.
- Oversee the mechanical and electrical construction of test equipment, either in-house or with an external supplier
- Provide necessary technical training and troubleshooting assistance for designed test equipment.
- Applies engineering principles to the analysis and solution of technical problems related to the design and fabrication of high volume, low volume and high mix electronic and electromechanical test equipment.
- Collaborate with the design and operations teams to ensure that the voice of the process is represented in new and enhanced designs and improved designs
- Planning and managing the budget for each project
- Provides leadership or support to engineering processes and system improvement efforts.
- Identifies opportunities or participates in the development of identified projects to improve the flow of information throughout the product life cycle. product life cycle

**YOU MUST HAVE**:

- Related Engineering (Electronic Engineering, Digital Systems Engineering, Mechatronics).
- More than 8 years of experience in the electronic board assembly industry.
- Experience in the design and construction of test equipment and electrical alignment test equipment.
- Experience in Visual Studio, VB, VXI, PXI applied to test set design
- English proficiency
- Working knowledge in PC selection, installation, configuration and maintenance
- Knowledge of current automation technologies
- Excellent analog and digital hardware design skills
- Comprehensive knowledge of NI software (Teststand, Labview, and Lab Windows CVI)
