Production Supervisor 2nd Shift

Responsible of leading the area employee’s trough the manufacturing and production processes to meet product schedule demands. Ensures that quality is obtained by ensuring that employee’s needs and company policy and goals are met. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization policies and applicable laws, interviews and train employees, plans, assigns and directs work. Appraising performance, rewards and disciplining his employees, addresses complaints and resolves problems.
- Distributes work for his department and manages his team to produce products based on information provided by the planners.
- Observe and analyze production problems with the aim of providing solutions to improve methods or use of equipment.
- Analyze the performance of the sector.
- Serves as a member and team leader on the development of new products.
- Initiate, participate in continuous improvement activities and promoting improvements plans in his area.
- Supervise health and safety procedures.
- Communicate daily work crew’s priorities and other matter of interest.
- Implement proper 5’s and health and safety standards.
- Monitor the maintenance plan.
- Knowledge of SMT profiles
- Management of SMT equipment
- Define standard production times
- Coordinate the setup and validation of production lines to achieve the company's production / quality objectives
**Requirements**:
- Engineering degree
- Availability for 2nd shift
- 3 years of experience in supervision.
- 3 years of experience in the SMT process
- Good communication skills.
- Good leadership skills.
