**This position reports to**:
Finance Manager
**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support in all financial and commercial matters related to the project. Each day, you will actively drive their respective project’s performance. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing project invoices and financial accounting and reporting (including project site accounting) documents. The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions in San Luis Potosi. You will be mainly accountable for: - Perform analyses of business performance versus plan and proposes improvement actions. - Perform benchmarking of key performance indicators with industry competitors and similar sites within ABB. - Leads analysis to understand drivers of financial performance and identify market trends. - Prepares financial modelling for various hypotheses and assesses impact to factory with special focus on product / business line profitability, product costing, production variances, over/under-absorption analysis / inventory analysis. - Supports the preparation of the relevant organization’s financial reporting, business planning, budgeting, and forecasting and validates accuracy of financial data and business information and reports by performing reconciliations and - review of exceptions. - Ensures processes and controls within their area of responsibility are designed and implemented in line with the group and unit requirements and maintains proper audit trail and documentation for future tax/internal/external audits and reviews.
**Qualifications for the role**:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance required
- 5 yrs experience in Costing and Controlling in manufacturing industry
- Knowledge in P&L and Costing
- SAP FI and/or CO modules experience
- Advanced English
