**The Role**
We are looking for a Junior Software QA Automation Engineer with solid backend data automation experience who has good communication skills and is a self-starter. Skillset should include solid SQL + Excel skills, ETL testing, Power BI automation, automating data pipelines using pytest, pycharm etc.

Knows Python, understands how different subsystems interact with each other at the backend, has expertise in API testing, is comfortable testing when data transforms and translates from one system to another, and functional, regression and system integration testing.

This is purely a backend role with no UI testing.

**What You’ll Need**
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, or quality assurance.
- A minimum of two years of experience in a software quality role
- Strong analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Deep interest in problem-solving.
- Passion to learn new technologies and systems with a high degree of ownership
- Ability to be flexible and team-oriented, with good interpersonal skills, the ability to balance multiple tasks, and the ability to adapt or change approaches.
