**Descripción y Requisitos**

**Position objective**:
Responsible for leading Overconsumption tasks in all sites as well Re-Use programs. Plans, oversees and coordinates all Engineering Department activities and operations, such as Department budgeting and planning, continuous improvement project planning and monitoring, products industrialization project, industrial performance improvement, process parameters management and tooling management in cooperation with Regional industrial performance, Quality, Production, Logistics and Maintenance departments in order to meet plant objectives.

**Requirements**:

- 5 years in similar position
- Bachelor degree Engineering (Industrial, Mechatronic, Electrical Engineering)
- 3 years as Industrial Performance/Continuous Improvement Manager Position in a manufacturing environment (automotive sector is desired)
- Six sigma, Lean manufacturing certifications are desired
- IATF:16948 audits participation
Negotiation, teamwork, Managing Performance, Personal Effectiveness, Business Skills, leading people, Developing others.
- Availability of travel

- Schedule availability
- Bilingual English and Spanish

**Main responsibilities**:

- Coordinates product maturation (performance, dimensional, and appearance) phase of new launch
- Uses open issues report to record and track all open issues to closure
- Reviews advanced quality planning documents, FMEA’s, PDS, Process Flow Diagrams, Control Charts, Gage R&R studies, and capability studies to help identify and resolve issues during the development and launch of a new product
- Works with Launch Team to provide production level parts for each Customer Pre-Production build
- Performs technical and statistical investigations and analysis on production, quality, process, and equipment issues problem solving method
- Solves issues related to dimensional and performance requirements by evaluation of assembly, molding, coatings, design, tooling, and SPC & DOE
- Provides feedback on issues to resolve maturation problems
- Supports launches at other facilities and customer facilities, as needed, to support all phases of the customer’s launch activities.
- Attend Engineering and Component Review Team meetings
