**The team you will be a part of**:

- The Engineering team discovers, develops and evaluates new product ideas, enhancements, or strategic product extensions, and translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products. Leads, plans and tracks all phases of the product life cycle, from inception to introduction into the marketplace. Coordinates with various functions to ensure successful product development and implementation.

**This role in summary**:
**Will lead, manage or support product engineering changes in new product development, cost reduction projects, quality improvement, regulatory plan with the government, and daily support with the Factory to cover production issues or urgencies.**

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- **
Lead the Cost plan and resources from the subsystem.**
- ** Develops and monitors planning timetables and project schedules.**
- ** Lead project, design objectives, and the selection of design approaches. Coordinate and execute design, documentation, and transition to production activities related to new product design and development.**
- ** Provide status reports and attend design reviews and pre-production activities as appropriate.**
- ** Work with internal and external tool makers, fabricators, and process partners to optimize designs and assemblies.**
- ** Responsible for design/cost/quality/time trade-offs and issues within the project/product plan guardrails.**
- ** Identifies the verification methods (physical or virtual) that will ensure the product and subsystems meet the requirements specified by the project team and applicable regulations.**
- ** Proactively works with product quality organizations to ensure that performance and reliability requirements protect us versus known failure modes.**

**Minimum requirements**:

- ** Engineering Degree**
- ** 5 + years of Project Management or related work experience**
- ** Proficient English**

**Preferred skills and experiences**:

- ** Problem-solving**
- ** Proficiency in manufacturing process technology understanding, especially within the platform family**
- ** Proficiency in FMEA, PFMEA, and Opex tools.**
- ** Good Communication skills with different audiences (engineering, manufacturing, and line employees)**
- ** Critical thinking
