**Job Title**
Accounting Supervisor Sr

**Position Purpose**
Ensure the on-time financial statements in accordance with Mexican accounting regulations yearly and quarterly. Coordinate the external audit. Supervise the Senior Accountant for MX Closing and coordinate the US closing together with US Team. Reviews Journal entries are properly documented and prepared. Also, supervises and reviews Fixed assets area.

**Primary Accountabilities**:

- Review the timely issuance of financial statements of Mexico entities with proper footnotes. Also coordinates the external audit and manages to meet the established deadlines. Prepares OnDemand financial statements for different entities.
- Coordinate US and MX Closing. Review of variances and explanations in Financial statements, approves General accounting entries such as Accruals, Reserves adjustments and reclassifications. Also, reviews corporate accounting criteria is followed.
- Review FA balances and reconciliations. Ensures the proper capitalization and depreciation according to Corporate Policy USGAAP and MEXGAAP. Ensures Internal controls are being followed.
- Reviews Payroll entries and balances are accurate. Proposes reclassifications and adjustments as needed. Also, reviews Payroll account reconciliations are properly prepared, and balances are accurate, following the Corporate criteria for Reconciliations.
- Reviews and coordinates the Electronic Accounting for the Mexico entities. Reviews and ensures timely delivery of information to Tax team and Authorities. Proposes process changes for improvement as needed.
- Participate in accounting projects and improvement projects. Trains and supports finance area in Accounting best practices.

**Education & Experience**
Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
Area of Study: Accounting
Years of Experience: Five to seven years.
Type of Experience: General Accounting, Record to report, General Ledger Accountant
Special Certifications or Technical Skills: MX GAAP, US GAAP, Financial Statements, Fixes Assets, Intercompany, Bilingual (Spanish / English).
Other/Preferred: Advanced excel. Tax knowledge will be an extra.
