**Role Objective**:

- We are looking for a Specialist in Public Policy with high potential, lots of drive and a clear interest in the digital/ tech world.
- In this role, you will directly impact some of Rappi’s most strategic objectives including shaping the policy landscape in Latam, providing sustainability to our business and working relentlessly to improve the lives of our key stakeholders: our couriers, our business allies, our users, as well as our employees and the entire digital talent ecosystem.
- This position will be responsible for working with these stakeholders in order to build and implement our Public Policy approach for a given market. On one hand, the role will imply deep analysis of upcoming regulations, an understanding of the political context and a profound awareness of the key players in Government, congress, NGOs etc. On the other hand, the role will imply a lot of execution, making sure that the plans and programs we design are carefully and timely implemented. It is a deep thinking AND hands on role.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- You will identify, monitor, analyze, and advance key policy issues that can have an impact on Rappi
- Working with your Manager and relevant cross functional teams, you will have a role in the implementation of a comprehensive strategy to represent Rappi and build relationships with external stakeholders and policymakers, including government officials, regulators, associations, civil society, among others
- You will lead internal cross-functional teams to implement projects related to our audiences and key stakeholders (i.e. social initiatives related to couriers).
- You will collaborate with Public Relations and Legal colleagues to ensure consistency of approach.
- You will be part of both a local and a global team and as such, you will coordinate and produce information to ensure we have local/ global consistency.
- As part of the Policy team you will permanently cultivate new contacts within our business community.

**Key Requirements**:

- Experience working with and building internal cross-functional and external coalition efforts to advance complex goals and finding creative solutions to difficult problems.
- Experience working with the public policy community, including think tanks, academics, policy advocates/activists, trade associations, and other NGOs
- Ability to take an analytical, creative approach, and to work fast, responding to a highly dynamic and rapidly evolving environment while simultaneously managing multiple different projects and lines of work.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and respond quickly.
