**Health, Safety & Environment Specialist**:

**This position reports to**:
Business Health, Safety & Env Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Driving continuous improvement by implementing the Group-wide system, training, the delivery of assistance from the Center of Expertise, and improvement programs.
- Empowering the management team to grasp obligations, liability, and how to fulfil their roles according to law and ABB policy, instructions and standards.
- Facilitating risk assessments by line management and ensuring all processes and corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensuring that appropriate safety equipment and tools are available and used, identifying and planning training, and ensuring compliance with the Group management system.
- Ensuring the site is audited according to the Group Assurance & Audit Program.
- Engaging stakeholders to raise awareness of ABB’s safety initiatives, winning commitment to ABB's goals, and reporting on performance and progress.
- Planning and executing related projects, managing resources and reporting on objectives and progress.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering or related.
- Two years of experience working in similar positions.
- Experience in property security and industrial security.
- Experience in leadership.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Principally Excel) and AutoCAD (layouts).
- Experience working with closed circuit tv.
- Collaborative, ability to work as a team.
- Intermediate to advanced English level.
- Ability to manage complex issues and work with cross-functional team, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
