Description - Manage and evaluate performance of staff in the team, strengthening fluid communication and decision-making based on company KPI, as well as defining their roles and responsibility matrix. - Supervise all import, export customs clearance purposes for raw material, fixed asset, finish goods in Mexico and USA. - Ensure compliance with security programs (C-TPAT / OEA), certifications (Anexo24, Anexo 31, SAT, SCT, CBP, VAT IEPS) and internal policies. - Maintain external registration for external warehouse, sub maquila - Follow up and clarify new/updated trade act in Mexico and USA relating to the company with external resources. - Control and coordinate customs clearance (IMMEX/Domestic for Raw material/fixed asset /Finish goods) with suppliers and customers, with keeping close communication with the production and sales areas. - Plan the budget for logistics costs relating to customs clearance and warehouse distribution in Mexico and USA and review current processes in order to streamline processes and reduce costs.

Experiência y requisitos

Experience and requirement - Advanced English skill - Minimum experience 5 years dedicated as asst. manager/top leader in Logistics at manufacturing company or consulting company - Minimum experience 3 years Import / Export in Manufacturing IMMEX company in border area. - Preferable but not necessary, import / export logistics experience at companies in the steel industry. - Knowledge of laws and regulations (C-TPAT / OEA, Anexo 24, Anexo 31, SAT, SCT, CBP, VAT IEPS) - Skills for Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, Power point) - Time availability - good communication skills - Proactive for challenge
