**Position Summary**:
A member of the Country Finance Department, this position is accountable for providing the support needed to comply with all the Tax related requirements Mexico entities among other activities: assists in the administration and preparation for monthly, quarterly, and annual closure, prepares taxes reports and provide suppport on audits.

Interacts internally with various levels of financial and operational management, and externally with state and local agents and various tax consultants and Legal Advisors.

**Duties**:
**_ Preparation of Tax Returns _**
- Responsible for monthly tax calculation and submitions and to meet all tax related obligations including Social Security and payroll taxes.
- Preparation and organization of Federal, State and Local Corporate Tax returns and supporting work papers.
- Request and follow up on vendors the positive opinion for the IRS.
- Request VAT refunds in a monthly basis.
- Responsible for monthly income tax calculation under Tax Specialist Supervision.
- Prepare monthly journal entries to accrue tax expense and payments.
- Reconcile Taxes accounts from Balance Sheet for SOX (Sarbanes Oxley) in blackline.
- Responsible for Electronic accounting compliance.

**Education Degree**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting**Required Experience**:
**Required Experience**
- Bachelor 's Degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting or CPA or equivalent required.- Minimum of five (5) years of tax experience including filing of transaction tax returns in manufacturing environments preferred.-
- Specific proficiency in the utilization of Excel (master pivot tables, subtotal & filter options, able to query and manipulate data thru several functions, etc.).- At least 40% English level.STERIS is a leading provider of products and services that meet the needs of growth areas within Healthcare: procedures, devices, vaccines and biologics.
