Geodis is seeking an Operations Manager, who is responsible to lead and manage operations team to provide Planning and Execution Transportation, Value add services and invoice validation, Key activities focuses on ensure to provide operational excellence service to the customer, achieve target for every key indicator for each operation, identify and address opportunity areas inside customer’s vendors and supplier’s operations, as well as, develop and maintain key suppliers partnership, and support to internal GEODIS areas according requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree (Industrial Engineering / International Business or similar) and master degree desirable International Business or Industrial Engineering
- Advanced English
- Supply Chain Optimization
- Cargo & freight expertise
- MS Office
- Excellent time management
- Multitasking skills with attention to detail

Main activities:

- Ensure GEODIS commitments to Customer (kpis, savings )
- Supervise operational performance & workloads of the teams
- Function as an escalation point for operational issues
- Building relationship's with external and internal departments, customers/suppliers and stakeholders.
- Audit periodically the different processes & identify discrepancies and potential improvement (root cause & action plan)
- Develop a business continuity plan i.e. maintain knowledge & process (people/process/systems)
- Workload anticipation
- Month end, quarter ends
- Ensure escalation management and issue resolution when necessary
- Report operational KPIs internally and externally.
- Develop team maturity: Coach and counsel teams through accountability matrix, motivate team to achieve goals, ensure effective team communication, provide direction
- Merge GEODIS /Customer and personal objectives between the team to achieve our goals a service provider company.
- Cascade & communicate company announcements, decisions, goals, etc., to the team.
