Senior Client Computing Platform Mobile

The Senior Systems Engineer in Infrastructure Services for Client Computing Platforms is an expert in modern client computing technologies on a global scale. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing the client's cloud and on-premise business technologies, focusing on infrastructure platforms and end user experience. They collaborate with various teams to provide technical expertise for project planning, issue resolution, and future strategy development. Responsibilities include monitoring and administering the client's technology stack, system maintenance, and participating in system upgrades and patches. This role also involves guiding contractors and service providers in system maintenance activities. This position is part of the client's Global IT Infrastructure Services team and involves interacting with vendors and service providers regularly.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participate in design sessions of technical infrastructure & cloud processes, integrate solutions into existing infrastructure and continuous improvement of standards, processes, procedure across the function are of responsibility. Review, validate, develop technical designs, prototypes, process designs, testing, training, and definition of support procedures for systems deployment in Cloud/On-Prem infrastructure(s)
- Assist with change control, incident response, testing and validate infrastructure changes or problems across the hybrid-cloud infrastructure and distributed environment. Provide regular communication to client´s IT management and leadership team on internal team initiatives, Infrastructure related projects, and other work assignment.
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for architecture standards, design, implementation, standard operating procedures, and testing activities. Prepare formal project documentation, including specifications, requirements summaries, logical system design documents, technical diagrams, and test scripts.
- Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Build, develop, and grow business relationships with users, within client´s Global IT Infrastructure/Application/Security and with partner and vendors. This includes working with internal and external Infrastructure and Networking teams to provide support for both current and future client’s client computing technology landscapes.

Work Experience:

- **10 years of experience**: Enterprise IT industry experience encompassing a wide range of skill set, roles and industry verticals including a large-scale global IT operation, envisioning, design, implementation, migrations, transformations, deployment rollout including broad experience with driving IT platform architecture/design/administration, service management and IT governance/control processes.
- **8 years of experience**: Progressive experience working with 4 or more of the following functional technology areas.

1. End User Computing technologies, Microsoft 0ffice 365, Microsoft Collaboration, Hybrid-Azure Active Directory, Security administration, Apple Enterprise technologies, Servers, Networking, automation services, across the enterprise, retail, distribution, and manufacturing business segments
2. Design, engineering, and administration of modern enterprise client computing operating systems & platforms - Windows, MacOS, Linux, Thin-Client OS, Mobile OS (iOS/Android), Intune, Azure, Defender, Citrix & Azure Virtual Desktops/Applications
4. Enterprise MDM/MAM and endpoint system management - (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android) Intune, SOTI, 10Zig, JAMF, Beyond Trust Insight (EPM) & Remote Support (Bomgar)
5. Enterprise client hardware build and deployment management - DELL, Apple, HP, Lenovo, 10zig, Thin-Client, Mobile devices, Zebra, printing
6. Enterprise Microsoft Windows hybrid domain infrastructure environment, including Windows Client OS, Server OS (e.g., 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022), SQL Server, Office 365, Exchange online, SharePoint Online, IIS, and all forms of Active Directory, SSO, DNS, SCEP, Certificates services.
7. Hybrid-cloud technologies supporting and administration of global client computing environment with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, ARM templates, etc.
**-5 years of experience**: Experience with infrastructure orchestration and automation (Infrastructure-as-Code, Configuration-as-Code) for provisioning and management of on-premises infrastructure, Azure hosted Infrastructure-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service capabilities (Azure) including virtual networks, virtual machines, and data services
**-5 years of experience**: Experience with agile IT framework, CI/CD platforms and tools such as Azure DevOps, Pipeline, Git, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
- **5 years of experience**:Experience with scripting and automating Infrastructure and cloud platforms using scripting languages, tools and management of script libraries such as Azure PowerShell, PowerShell, Azure ARM, Python, Bash, Ansible, Broadcom (CA) Automic.
- **5 years of experience**: Advance level
