**Your function**
Reporting to the Director of Finance, this Controller position is responsible for the Finance Dept staff that directs and controls the accurate and timely input, processing, and availability of all cost and financial data as well as other information systems in order to safeguard the assets and to provide clear identification and analysis of the various cost and revenue elements throughout the Company.

**Your main missions**
- Knowledge and practice of Hutchinson Antivibration System’s Health, Safety, and Environmental policies, procedures and requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and other data reflecting various aspects of business operations.
- Establish, coordinates and administers all financial systems, internal controls and related areas.
- Provides financial control, reporting, analysis and counsel ensure that management has adequate financial visibility of business operations.
- Analyze and interpret operating results to identify problems and trends affecting the financial aspects of the Corporation and make specific communication and recommendations to effect improved operational performance.
- Establishes or recommends to the Corporate Controller & Finance Manager major economic objectives and policies for company.
- Works with Corporate Controller & Finance Manager and completes preparation of budgets.
- Maintain, through leadership and management controls, a staff that effectively performs the accounting and control functions and that is responsive to management needs for information and analysis.
- Interact continually with operations management to achieve control in all phases of the company and to identify emerging problems and opportunities.
- Maintains a working relationship with outside auditors.
- Prepares and coordinates reports required by regulatory agencies and various taxing authorities.
- Participates and demonstrates ability to perform tasks and work effectively in a team environment.
- Travel may be frequently required to other facilities.
- Manages the accounting and finance staff. Carries out managerial responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, training, planning, assigning and directing work, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.

At a minimum, four year degree with a major in Accounting or Finance would be necessary, or equivalent; and 4 to 10 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. MBA or CPA would be preferable.

The individual should have knowledge of MAPICS accounting software; Future 3 release accounting software; and Microsoft Excel and Word software.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and process several abstract and concrete variables. Must be able to assess reasonableness of the analysis performed.
