Supplier Quality Engineer
**Summary**
Supervises the execution of Supplier Quality & Development objectives. May lead a team of Technical / Business Support or entry level professional Quality employees. Sets day-to-day objectives for the achievement of immediate Supplier Quality & Development goals within area of responsibility.
**Profile**:
- Bachelor degree (MBA consider +)
- 3 years experience in managing SQA position or previous experience on Quality area
- Fluent english
- knowledge in ISO 9001 (consider a + IATF 16949)
- Proactive and Self directed
- Team player and agent of change
- Supervises processes related to Supplier Quality & Development initiatives, including supplier qualifications / certifications, assessmentss, monitoring, escape management, and / or quality issue resolution processes.
- Supervises implementation of supplier specific quality initiative strategies.
- Supervises Supplier Quality-related activities, such as raw material assessments, design of contracted manufactured items, and / or materials packaging; ensuring service providers and laboratories employ good manufacturing practices (GMP) and procurement practices meet or exceed requirements.
- Supervises processes or standards in support of the Carrier Supplier Gold program, ensuring healthy continuous improvement and sustainability.
- Supervises processes to ensure that supplier is capable to meet all requirements for work transfer and process change management including Resourcing Gate and Production Part Approval Process (UPPAP) acceptance.
**Minimum Requirements**
Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution
University Degree or equivalent experience or equivalent experience and specialized knowledge of technical or operational practices
